Country Joe and The Fish have been overlooked by the Rock and Roll Hall of fame long enough. 2005 marks the 40th Anniversary of this historic band. Country Joe has continued the legacy with recent performaces of The Country Joe Band. The band released a one song CD in 2004 called "Cake Walk To Baghdad" - the song was penned by bassist Bruce Barthol. Barry "The Fish" Melton does not perform as part of the Country Joe Band, however, he continues a viable and vibrant solo career.
