[edit] Merge proposal
Should this article be merged into Fly system as there does not seem to be a specific article on any other type of fly system? 48v 21:46, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

- I agree, merge. Both articles are horrible stubs. I can provide some illustrations soon, too. LACameraman 03:20, 9 July 2006 (UTC)
-
- Agree merge. Also, this article has some language issues. --omtay38 01:14, 19 July 2006 (UTC)

- Definately agreed---merge is needed---I will try to improve one or both soon----IkeEisenstadt 16:41, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

- I agree too. Perhaps hemp flying should also be merged into this to create a 'stage flying' page or simialr. AndyP543 06:23, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

- I think if they are to be merged then hemp flying, and any other similar articles should be gathered together under a new subject, like 'Stage Rigging' or 'Theater Rigging', where Fly systems would be part of this. -- Just a random Wikipedia user, and Theatre Technician.

- I'd say that plenty of time has gone by so a merger of these two articles looks like a good idea. I'll add it to the project list on Wikipedia:WikiProject Stagecraft --Lekogm 16:01, 20 September 2006 (UTC)

I agree. The both say basically the same thing. A better idea listed above would be to create a whole rigging article.
This article has been merged with and now redirects to Fly system in accordance with WP:BB. Please discuss any objections or comments. --Lekogm 04:31, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
