County cabinet (Norway)

County cabinet (Norwegian: Fylkesråd) is a political executive branch used to govern some of the county municipalities of Norway through the principals of the parliamentary system. The cabinet is led by the Chairman of the County Cabinet, with a number of Councerlors responsible for different political fields. The cabinet must be supported by the majority of the county council, the elected body of the county municipality.
