County Route 623 is a county highway in Cape May County in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The route runs from U.S. Route 9 in Upper Township east to Central Avenue in Ocean City.
[edit] Route description
CR 623 heads southeast from US 9 on Roosevelt Boulevard. It interchanges with the Garden State Parkway and then heads through the back bay areas and crosses into Ocean City on the 34th Street Bridge. It continues into Ocean City on 34th Street and intersects County Route 656 (Bay Avenue) and then County Route 619 (West Avenue). Between these two routes, CR 623 forms a part of Ocean Drive, a road that follows the Atlantic Ocean between Atlantic City and Cape May. Past CR 619, CR 623 continues a short distance toward the ocean to its eastern terminus at Central Avenue.
