County Route 619 is a county route in Middlesex County, New Jersey that measures 6.39 miles in length. It carries the names of Butcher Road and Applegarth Road. The road extends from Disbrow Hill Road at the Monmouth/Middlesex County line (for Millstone Township and Monroe Township) to County Route 612. Both ends of the county road are in Monroe. Route 619 is discontinued after seven miles at a dead end for a railroad, starting up again nearby.
It is now becoming another important link in Monroe for new houses. The entire length of Route 619 has become developed, which in turn has created more vechicular volume. Farmlands converted to housing developments, and new houses are being constructed in its place.

[edit] Route description
Route 619 begins at an intersection with Disbrow Hill Road on the Monmouth-Middlesex County border in Monroe Township.[1] Route 619 crosses several creeks before crossing at a traffic light for New Jersey Route 33. Route 619 heads eastward, intersecting with several county routes before coming to a dead end near County Route 698. A railroad splits the two segments of CR 619. Route 619 continues again a little farther eastward, coming to an end at County Route 698.[1] According to commercial map services, it is suggested that Route 619 still continues underneath the railroad and ends at Docks Corner Road, which would increase its length to 7.78 miles long. [2]
Various spots of Route 619 are configured as an avenue (two-lanes each direction). Between the Clearbrook entrance and Half Acre, it's configured as an avenue. From Route 614 to Route 612, it is also configured as an avenue. Over the past few years, volume has been increasing due to development in neighboring municipalities. Most of the volume comes from/goes to Route 33 (which connects to Mercer and Monmouth Counties) and CR 612 (which leads to Exit 8A of Interstate 95/New Jersey Turnpike).
[edit] History
Prior to 2002, Route 619 extended further north, along Possum Hollow Road (north of CR 612). It went underneath the railroad track, and ended at Docks Corner Road (CR 698) in Jamesburg. However, when Monroe Township officials allowed warehouses to be built along 619 (between the railroad and Docks Corner), the underpass for the railroad was destroyed to prevent trucks from using Possom Hollow. The reasons were that the underpass had a low clearance level (therefore, getting trucks stuck) and to prevent future thru-traffic through Jamesburg.[3] Since at least June 2007, Possum Hollow Road was changed to Links Drive.
