County Route 614 is a county highway in Ocean County, New Jersey. The highway extends 13.78 miles from CR 530 in Manchester to just east of U.S. Route 9 in Lacey. The road dead ends at the Barnegat Bay. The busiest section is between the Parkway and U.S. Route 9, which serves as a major commuting corridor. Ocean County has plans in place to reconstruct this section to be four total lanes with jughandles and upgraded signals. With utility work completed, the project looks to be completed sometime in 2007. The only existing signage for CR 614 is seen from the Parkway exit signs for "Exit 74". The trend in Ocean County seems to be that with new construction on 600 routes, comes signage that identifies them, if this is the case then CR 614 may get some more recognition in the near future.
