CR 31 consisted of Corlies Avenue (Deal Beach Avenue) between Wickapecko Drive on the west and a bridge crossing Deal Lake on the east. Corlies Avenue continued eastward as a municipal road in Allenhurst terminating in a dead end at the Atlantic Ocean.

[edit] History

The route was taken over as a county highway by resolution of the Board of Chosen Freeholders on October 20, 1937. It remained a county highway until April 22, 2004, when it was decommissioned by Resolution No. 04-323 of the Board of Chosen Freeholders. The same resolution also decommissioned CR 40 and took over West Park Avenue, which became County Route 14.
