County Route 21 (Dutchess County, New York)

County Route 21 is a county route in Dutchess County, New York. It runs from both ends at NY 55. It is known localy as Noxon Road, East Noxon Road, Bruzgul Road, and Wingdale Road as well as Pleasant Ridge Road. It runs through LaGrange, Unionvale, and Dover. At 18.52 miles, it is the longest county route in the county.

CR 21 begins at a junction with NY 55 (which it will intersect once more, then terminate at later). It then progresses to meet Titussvile Road, officially designated as County Route 49. It later reaches Diddel Road, which provides access to NY 376. Following this, Noxon Road veers off to the left, while CR 33 goes straight. A few hundred feet later, CR 33 goes right, while CR 42 begins straight. 42 then ends at the southbound Taconic.

After the junction, 21 goes to access to Taconic Northbound. The exit wasn't in existence until roughly 2006, to provide access to the northbound taconic after the median was closed at Arthursburg Road (CR 42). The median was actually closed a few years before the new one at Noxon was opened, therefore forcing people to either take the exits for NY 52, NY 82, or NY 55 to get to the Poughkeepsie area.

Following this, it intersects NY 82, and changes its name to East Noxon Road. It then progresses to its second junction with route 55, and becomes Brugzul Road. A short while later, it enters a roundabout where it meets CR 9. CR 9 also continues through the roundabout. Meanwhile, Brugzul Road becomes Wingdale Road. pleasant ridge road then progresses to intersect CR's 32 (where Wingdale Road becomes Pleasant Ridge Road) and 20, at 20's terminus. It then intersects NY 22, and then a few hundred feet later, terminates at route 55.
