County Road 840 is a major commuter route in Southwest Florida, running just north of San Carlos Park, a suburb of Fort Myers. CR 840 is named Alico Road, and it is eleven miles long from end to end. Alico Road runs near Southwest Florida International Airport and the campus of Florida Gulf Coast University, and is a popular route for accessing both of these locations.
