County Road 4164 (Volusia County, Florida)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Volusia County Road 4164 (now Osteen-Maytown Road) is a county road in southern Volusia County, Florida. The road is 22 miles long from the unincorporated Osteen to Oak Hill. This road cuts through the rural area of South Volusia County. It was built because it helps motorists get to Sanford, Deltona, DeBary, Kennedy Space Center, Canaveral National Seashore, and the eastern terminus of the road, Oak Hill. Towns passed on the highway are Oak Hill, Cow Creek, Farmton, Kalamazoo, and Osteen. This road also cuts through Farmton State Wildlife Management Area. This road is proposed to become part of SR 444.[citation needed]
However, for its entire route, there are no gas stations or restaurants. Motorists who need gas must find a gas station on ether US 1 (eastern terminus) or SR 415 (western terminus)[1]. In one large piece of the road, there's no homes.
