Counts of Fézensac

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The County of Fézensac was a tenth-century creation of the partition of the Duchy of Gascony which took place after the death of García II in 926. Including the Armagnac, the Fézensac was given as an appanage to García's second-eldest son William.

Fézensac included the cities of Vic and Auch, its capital. The comital name was later resurrected for the Montesquiou family.
