Count Friedrich August von Harrach-Rohrau

Count Friedrich August von Harrach-Rohrau, (Vienna, June 8, 1696 - Vienna, June 4, 1749), interim governor of the Austrian Netherlands (1741 - 1744).
He was the son of Aloys Thomas Raimund Count Harrach (1669-1742) and Countess Anna Caecilie von Thannhausen (1674-1721).
He married February 5, 1719 Princess Eleonora of Liechtenstein (1703-17 July 1757), daughter of Anton Florian of Liechtenstein. They had 16 children;

Ernst Guido's great-great-grandson was Lieutenant Colonel Count Franz von Harrach, Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria's bodyguard when he was assassinated in Sarajevo on June 28, 1914.
Joseph Haydn was born in the village of Rohrau, where the related Counts of Harrach had their palace. His father Mathias Haydn, was a wheelwright and his mother, the former Maria Koller, had previously worked as a cook in the palace of Count Karl Anton von Harrach.
