The Couchiching First Nation is a Saulteaux First Nation in the Canadian province of Ontario, who live on the Couchiching 16A and Agency 1 reserves in the Rainy River District near Fort Frances.
The current band chief is Chuck McPherson. A council of six band members governs the band. The council members elect (March 2008-2010 terms) Ron (Magoo) Archie, Richard (Dick) Bird, Christine Jourdain, Nick Mainville Jr., Bill Perrault, Clint Perreault. Chuck McPherson was re-elected as chief for the same term.
