[edit] AfD Nomination: Anadish Pal
I've nominated the article Anadish Pal for deletion under the Articles for deletion process. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Anadish Pal satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion. I have explained why in the nomination space (see What Wikipedia is not and Deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anadish Pal. Don't forget to add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of each of your comments to sign them. You are free to edit the content of Anadish Pal during the discussion, but please do not remove the "Articles for Deletion" template (the box at the top). Doing so will not end the discussion. --Edcolins 21:08, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
As the original contributor of the article, I have done my best in my limited time to gather sufficient references. I illustrated the inclusion of persons like Shikhar Dhawan into Wikipedia. Even otherwise, the India section has very few Indians who represent India in any significant way. The efficiency of the experienced Wikipedia editors is remarkable, however they are requested to have a wide-angle view of a cross section of articles in Wikipedia: Cottonmother 14:10, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- Let the biographied chap grow younger! Ok, let us remove any allusions to his date of birth! When I meet him, I'll ask him to show me his passport!! -- Cottonmother 17:56, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
