The former cotton mill in Vaasa was founded in 1856 and was in use until 1979. During the years 1988-97 the old factory was extensively rebuilt on the inside to house the University of Vaasa. This part of the university is called Fabriikki. The photo was taken by Christian Bertell in July 2006.
