James Arthur "Cotton" Tierney (born February 10, 1894 in Kansas City, Kansas - April 18, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas) is a retired professional baseball player who played infielder in the Major Leagues from 1920 to 1925. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies, Boston Braves, and Brooklyn Robins.
