Cotillion Records

Cotillion Records was a subsidiary of Atlantic Records. President of Cotillion Records was Henry E. Allen. It was active from the late 1960s through 1985. Among its acts were the post-Curtis Mayfield Impressions, Brook Benton, Jean Knight, Mass Production, Sister Sledge, The Velvet Underground, Stacy Lattisaw, Mylon LeFevre, Johnny Gill, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Garland Green, The Dynamics, The Fabulous Counts, and The Fatback Band.
The label is also responsible for launching the career of Luther Vandross who was in a 3 member group called Luther.
