Your recent edit to Tokyo (diff) was reverted by an automated bot. The edit was identified as adding either test edits, vandalism, or link spam to the page or having an inappropriate edit summary. [edit] Tokyo rewrite

Can you please discuss this change at talk:Tokyo? I (not a bot) manually reverted it the first time you made this change. The only comments about it so far are my initial comment and a supportive one from user:Sasanoha. There are at least 4 or 5 other users who pay attention to this article - I'd like to hear from them before proceeding with the rewrite. Thanks. -- Rick Block (talk) 18:37, 20 September 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Rick Block. Please discuss the change at talk:Tokyo. Without discussion, we do not understand your reason for this change. Fg2 10:32, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Tokyo. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. .

Please also note that the history section you're including appears to be a copyright violation - directly copied from http://www.sakura-house.com/tips/tokyo_general/history/history.htm. Copyright violations are taken very seriously. Edit warring is bad. Edit warring to include a copyright violation is completely unacceptable. -- Rick Block (talk) 17:36, 30 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD tag removal

Welcome to Wikipedia. It would be appreciated if you would not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Template:Japan Infobox. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Tarc 14:50, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Nomination for speedy deletion

A tag has been placed on Template:Infobox japan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. [edit] Still edit warring

You are edit warring again. You really must stop this. If you don't you will be blocked again (for a longer period of time). I'd suggest not editing Tokyo again until there's a consensus on the talk page favoring some (specific) change you propose. For more on how to resolve editorial conflicts, please see Wikipedia:Dispute resolution. -- Rick Block (talk) 18:47, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Please stop assuming ownership of articles such as Tokyo. Doing so may lead to disruptive behavior such as edit wars and is a violation of policy, which may lead to a block from editing. Oda Mari (talk) 17:06, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tokyo again

On this edit of yours:

  • Don't make sweeping changes to an article such as this without first getting agreement on the article's talk page.
  • Provide informative edit summaries.
  • Avoid getting into an edit war.

Thank you. -- Hoary 09:44, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tokyo

I have never edited the Tokyo article so I may be a neutral party. I am interested in Tokyo. If you have a dispute with User:DAJF, I would be happy to informally try to help you reach a solution. Just let me know. Archtransit 23:57, 24 October 2007 (UTC)
