Talk:Costochondral joint

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

It doesn't make any sense to require references for this basic anatomical term. What would one reference? Every anatomy textbook ever? Even if we could identify the first usage of the term in print, is there any reason to believe a Latin term's origin is attributable to the first author to put it in print?--Niels Olson 23:58, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Why not? If it is as basic as you say, then a reference should not be hard to come by. Just one book will do, no need to find the origin (although if you DO know who coined the term it could usefully go in the article). SpinningSpark 10:54, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Merger

I propose merging this article into Costochondral articulations which appears to be an identical subject. SpinningSpark 11:02, 13 April 2008 (UTC)
