Costas de Cão

Costas de Cão is a locality in the parish of Caparica and the municipality of Almada. It is located between Torrina, to TOrre and has a small settlement named Cova (meaning cove).
Its origin of the name came from what it was also known as another form, the Costa de Cão. It proved its property of the local with another pertainance of the coast. It is situated near Dojo Murakami where the Karate-do Shotokai is performed (between other related activities with Far Eastern culture), Murakami style. The Dojo serves the seat of CAO (Centro de Artes Orientais, Far Eastern Art Centre)
