Costa Grande of Guerrero
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Costa Grande (Spanish: "large coast") is one of the seven regions into which the southern Mexican state of Guerrero is divided.
It occupies the south, southwest, and west of the state, neighbouring to the north with the Tierra Caliente region and part of the state of Michoacán, to the south with the Pacific Ocean, and to the east with the Acapulco and central regions of the state.
It is a rich and fertile region. One of its main settlements is the tourist resort of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo.[1]
