Cosmo Iacavazzi was an American college and professional football player. A fullback, he played college football at Princeton University and was a member of the Tiger Inn Eating Club. After graduating from Princeton, he played professionally in the American Football League for the New York Jets in 1965. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2002.

The street block in front of West Scranton High School was renamed Cosmo Iacavazzi Way in honor of their alumni. Iacavazzi received this great honor in 2005 before the beginning of the West Scranton Invaders Football Season.
