Cosby Godolphin Trench DL, JP (6 January 1844 – 9 December 1925) was a British soldier.
A younger son of the 2nd Baron Ashtown and Harriet Georgiana Cosby, he was educated at Eton College in Berkshire and at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. Trench served in the 1st Dragoons reaching the rank of Captain. In 1886, he was High Sheriff of Tipperary. He was further Justice of Peace for County Waterford and County Tipperary as well as Deputy Lieutenant of County Tipperary.
On 19 June 1873, he married Maria Musgrave, daughter of Sir Richard Musgrave, 4th Baronet. They had four sons.
