[edit] Underbelly (TV series) and TV shows in general
Underbelly uses Template:Infobox Television. The template instructions state that the the figure used in the field "num_episodes" is "The number of episodes currently produced" and not the number of episodes that have aired. If you find other articles where somebody has mistakenly used the number of episodes that have aired you can help by correcting them. --AussieLegend (talk) 12:31, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Perhaps the people editing articles like LOST haven't read the template instructions. A lot don't. They just assume. --AussieLegend (talk) 12:48, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
What I "think" isn't really the issue. The instructions for the template are quite clear. The correct value for "num_episodes" is "The number of episodes currently produced". Have you read the instructions? --AussieLegend (talk) 15:01, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
As I said, perhaps the editors of those articles haven't read the instructions or they maybe they don't actually know how many episodes have been produced. --AussieLegend (talk) 02:23, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
Well, the summaries probably still aren't complete as there's an argument for including some more about what the police characters do, but they're better than what they were. --BrianFG (talk) 07:04, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Veronica Mars failed GA nomination
Yo, unfortunately Veronica Mars does not meet the Good article criteria at this time, for reasons stated on the talkpage. If you are looking for a review of the article as opposed to GA status itself, you might want to consider submitting it to peer review. Regards, скоморохъ 13:45, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] RE: Underbelly info
Yes of course. I too have refs, but forgot to add them in. Here they are:
- The gangland war moves online
- Underbelly DVDs selling in Victoria
- Nine staff questioned over Underbelly leaks
- More Underbelly leaks
I'll try and work on it now.

[edit] TV box
We generally go by what has "aired", as that shows what was produced. Obviously, there is a difference, because shows produce episodes before they actually air, and they may produce one that never airs. Basically, we update per what airs - that's been the standard practice for a long while. Although, if you have a source that says a show produced 145 episodes in its original run, but only aired 144, then I would say 145 episodes and put the source (with an explaination) with that number. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 01:43, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
- I would say, if someone can find a reliable secondary source that verifies that all have been produced then use that to cite the number. Otherwise, just update every time a new one airs. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 02:14, 1 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Discography listing
Please use the correct "wikitable" format when creating charts tables or discography tables. There shouldn't be any extra coloring, boldfacing or fonts put into these.... you can see WP:CHARTS for the basic format. Thanks. - eo (talk) 15:11, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Christina Milian
Hi, album covers are only allowed in album articles unless there's critical commentary of the cover. It was removed from the article for the same reason that album covers aren't allowed in discographies - see WP:FU#Unacceptable use. Unfree pics can't be used decoratively. Even if a fair use rationale was added, it would've been invalid. Spellcast (talk) 13:22, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Tempest
In case you didn't save the sandbox on your watchlist, I put in the the production info from the book. It still needs organizing and cleaning up, and some of it may not have enough context to stay, but that's pretty much all that was from the book. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 22:58, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Peer review feedback
Hi, I noticed you have a request in at peer review which has not yet received any response besides the semi-automated script. Have you tried requesting a peer review from the volunteers list? Another idea you might want to try is to review someone else's request (particularly one from the list of requests without responses), then ask that they look at your request. Hope these are helpful suggestions and help to get some feedback for your request soon, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 15:53, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the thanks on the Veronica Mars peer review. You are very welcome. I just thougt of something else and will add it next. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 16:35, 19 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Milian image fair use rationale
Hi Cornucopia. Sorry to disappoint you but I don't believe you can claim fair use on an album cover to illustrate a person. If you carefully read the template you've used, it says that the fair use can only be claimed for the recording in question, so I don't think you can use this image in her article. Have a look around on Wikimedia Commons or see if a Flickr user has an image they'd be prepared to release with the appropriate Commons licence? Sorry I can't help further. All the best, The Rambling Man (talk) 08:22, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi; the right place to report this to admins (not to a non-admin?!) is WP:AIV, for future reference... and welcome! —TreasuryTag—t—c 16:08, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] I am having simmilar problems with "Remember"
I barely remember (no pun intended) the episode "Remember (Desperate Housewives)" but I know it is 46th episode, and the season finale. But "Adamdeanhall" or something does not want the truth to be known, and has (judging from his or her talk page) had a history of accusing people of vandalism, unreasonable edits and such. I was wondering if you know if there is anything we can do about this to prevent future POV or unreasonable edits. I might contact someone else too. Yojimbo501 (talk) 19:47, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, I saw your message (which "Adam" deserved) and think it's unreasonable that he is unjustly accusing people of vandalism and such. He didn't even leave a reason why he undid the edits. If you would put the cite up for disscusion on the episodes list talk page, I will go by some time and leave a comment. Thanks for responding. Yojimbo501 (talk) 03:27, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Has this whole thing been resolved?
I noticed on AdamDeanHalls talk page you put a section which said Thank you for considering our point of view. Does that mean there is no point pursuing the whole Remember number of episodes problem? Has it been resolved? Well, if it has, it hasbeen nice doing buisness with you. Yojimbo501 (talk) 16:22, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] 30 Rock
Thanks for volenteering to help. I think we should start with the prose and references. -- Jamie jca (talk) 17:13, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't think the table really works because its just pretty much a copy of what was written above it. -- Jamie jca (talk) 17:45, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] The Rural Juror
Yeah, its pretty good but each section needs to be in paragraph form rather than bullets. Have a look at Pilot (30 Rock) or SeinfeldVision for a guideline. Also, use {{Cite web}} (for reviews) and {{Cite news}} (for news sources) for your references. You will also need some production information. Instances of The Rural Juror, when refaring to the film NOT the episode, should be in italics. Style the lead after the above mentioned episodes articles. A plot section will be needed of no more than 220 words (10 words per minute of duration). If you can't be bothered going through the episode for continuity, thats okay. I'll write the awards section for you once it's been moved to the mainspace, I can also add a screenshot. Also, try and use notable critics for reviews, the rule I use personally is that if the site the review is hosted on doesn't have a wikipedia pagem or it's user generated, it's not notable. Thanks for helping with the 30 Rock articles. -- Jamie jca (talk) 22:19, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Editing War: List of Desperate Housewives episodes
My competitor Special:Contributions/213.42.23.71 and I are in an editing war, and it is about List of Desperate Housewives episodes. Could you please do something about this?! If we keep this up, we'll both be blocked from Wikipedia!! AdamDeanHall (talk) 23:41, 28 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Hey whats happened with Adam Dean Hall?
Maybe you didn't see it somehow but I'm ust curious as to what the scope is with Adam. Has this all been resolved? Is Remember stable now? Thanks. Yojimbo501 (talk) 15:41, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
- Yeah... I think it is resolved. Adam left a note saying he'd be banned if he edited it again (which I don't think is apropriate, but I wont get into that). Well, hope its all been resolved. Yojimbo501 (talk) 23:01, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, adding content without citing a reliable source, as you did to Cassie's second studio album, is not consistent with our policy of verifiability. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you are familiar with Wikipedia:Citing sources, please take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. - Mdsummermsw (talk) 13:37, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Image size
Per the image use policy, we shouldn't override the default size with a specified image size. Since you're registered you have the option to set your own preferences for image size. Go to "My preferences" and select "Files", there you can reset the default image size for the "thumb" setting. You can go as high as 300px. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 20:13, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Generally, the only image that needs to be specified is the image in the lead, because it's typically the image that should stand out the most, and the default size (180 px) would be too small. If you adjust your personal preferences it won't be small anymore. Mine are set to 250 px. Their reasoning is that it may be small to you, but someone with a different resolution might see an image that is quite large. So, if the default for them is 180 px, and it appears large because of their personal resolution settings on their computer, then when you specify a specific size of "250 px" then it appears far too large to the other readers. Then they say, "this is too large", and then respecify the image to a smaller size that looks better for them. By making is a default, non-specified size, and having registered users set their own preferences you reduce the risk of this. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 04:08, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Glad I could be of help. I never knew about the image specifying until recently. I was always resizing everything to 250px too. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 04:22, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Cassie (singer) in Roc Boys
Actually....Cassie does background vocals in the song. It's even in the booklet. [1] ≈Alessandro ♫ T • C 05:19, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

- I didn't think it was notable enough to be in the article either, that's why I didn't put it back in. ≈Alessandro ♫ T • C 05:34, 17 May 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Remy Zero
If you got the image from FlickR, you should see about determing the actual copyright and seeing if the image was a personal capture that could be released in the public domain so that it would be free. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 05:12, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well, the person that posted it on FlickR isn't the owner apparently. Given that everyone in the image is living, I would assume that you could not claim that there is "no free alternative". Someone has a picture of Remy Zero, we just have to find a free copy of one - whether that comes with the Smallville cast or not. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 05:16, 24 May 2008 (UTC)
-
- You couldn't if they were all alive. The idea behind WP:BLP images is that we can't use screen captures from films to depict actors in their infobox, because they are living and someone can easily snap a picture of them. The fact that no one has snapped a picture is irrelevant to the idea that it could easly be done. The same could be said for this image, but we'll see what the reaction is. The real copyright for the image is listed here. This user nicely provides all the relevant info for the picture. I mean, you could contact the supposed owner of the picture (David Gray) and find out if he would release it under the GDFL. But that's your decision. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 05:24, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

- Congratulations to you too. I never said that it didn't have enough real world information, that answer I already knew. I said that it didn't have a lot of reviews. I mean, none of them are USA Today, or any other highly respectable new organization. I think it would have a hard time getting through and FAC process without a beefed up Reception section. - Also, I've noticed that the Moonlight episode titles are "Moonlight episode". Per naming conventions they should be simply "Moonlight", unless several objects share the same name and have articles. For instance, there is Serenity (Firefly episode) Serenity (Firefly vessel) and Serenity (film), plus a couple others. I've put in a request to delete the articles that are "(Moonlight)", because they already exist and are redirected to the LOE page. When that is complete (within a day or so), then the current articles need to be moved. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 12:17, 24 May 2008 (UTC)

- Be careful what you add or fix today, since I'm going to work right now and I'll be working on the page there. I work on it in WORD, and then send it to myself back at home where I upload the finished stuff everyday. Just forewarning in case you add or change something, as it could get lost when I upload the newer version. BIGNOLE (Contact me) 11:58, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
