Mass changes without concensus, moving a highly-visible article on the main page without concensus...hmmm. Daniel.Bryant 01:54, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Fine about the block, I just am offended about the person that blocked me. Cornerbock 17:11, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- Why would you possibly be offended? You maliciously and vandalously moved a major page in the news to an incorrect title. There's not even a shred of an excuse for what you did. Seriously, if you could come up with a bit of contrition or maybe something resembling an explanation, I might be convinced to reduce the block. You may have found it "funny" for all of five seconds to move the page and screw people up. Well, your five seconds of mirth are not worth the time and aggravation caused to other editors who have to clean up your mess - not to mention the disruption caused to a significant article. Wikipedia is not a playground, and this block was meant to quite clearly send that message. If you will apologize and offer your word that you will refrain from such behaviour in the future, I will reduce the block to 48 hours. FCYTravis 23:50, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to our encyclopedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing. However, unconstructive edits are considered vandalism, and if you continue in this manner you may be blocked from editing without further warning. Please stop, and consider improving rather than damaging the work of others. Thank you. 04:57, 30 September 2006 (UTC)
