[edit] Why this is a redirect

"Corporation tax" is the name used in a small number of jurisdictions for a company tax on profits. It should not be confused with company tax (which redirects to corporate tax). IMO, in due course, this page should become a disambiguation page offering the user a number of articles on the different taxes called "corporation tax" by various jurisdiction. At present, however, we only have an article relating to one jurisdiction, the United Kingdom. In due course, it would be nice to have, say, an Irish corporation tax page that could also be led off here. But until we have different articles to disambiguate, I suggest leaving this page as a redirect to the one article we do have, United Kingdom corporation tax, jguk 13:02, 7 Jan 2005 (UTC)
