[edit] Cornish National Liberation Army

A tag has been placed on Cornish National Liberation Army, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Kriegaffe 16:30, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

A press release from the organization in question does not constitute information Kriegaffe 15:01, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Agreed, this is pure propaganda for an avowed racist organisation, and should be removed.

[edit] Hang on

While no one is sure whether such an organisation actually exists, it has been mentioned in the mainstream media in recent days. The statement should be removed, but some basic information on this organisation should be retained.

The CNLA has been mentioned in the following articles (selection):

I've heard everything on the page on BBC news - premature to delete, and reports factually. Jimfbleak 18:01, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
I have added a cautionary sentence at the end and merged the MK comments. Crococolana 16:24, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
This article now seems out of date. It was no more than a news story that hit the headlines in 2007. The group (if it ever was a group) lasted less than 6 months Talskiddy 08:53, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Fire incident

An unregistered editor with their first edit has placed below the footnotes the following statement:

"This man answered his police bail on the 14th August 2007, and was released from bail with no charges brought against him due to a complete lack of evidence. He is currently taking legal advice in respect of action against the police and the Sun newspaper of London who incorrectly identified him as a terrorist."

I suspect that they may be correct but no source is given. Unless a reliable-ish source is provided within 24 hours, this paragraph will be deleted. Vernon White - TALK PAGE 16:32, 21 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Press gag

"The information was released on various websites due to alleged gag orders on the press."

Alleged gag order? By whom, who alleged this? Unless this can be verified I'll remove it.Serpren (talk) 12:58, 22 November 2007 (UTC)

Agree. I don't like it either and haven't been able to find confirmation on the Web. It was added by an Anon who hasn't been back since, I'm all for removal. ↔ Dennywuh (talk) 12:55, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
Excised the comment. ↔ Dennywuh (talk) 15:34, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
