Updated the first UbuWEB link... the other one was directing to information about sculptor Richard Serra. Tried a "search" on the site and got "page not found". Clicked "Cornelius Cardew" in the "history page" and got the Richard Serra info again... weird. finally got to the right place though via other Cardew pages on UbuWEB...Funks 20:38, 19 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shooting Party connection?

John Gielgud's (left wing) character in The Shooting Party ([1]) is called Cornelius Cardew. Anyone able to shed any light on this connection? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Treblekicker (talk • contribs) 11:05, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] misrepresentative quotation

i've changed "Cardew explained his rejection of the avant-garde" to "Cardew stated his attitude towards the avante-garde" as the set-up for the Stockhausen Serves Imperialism quote. its a bit of an inadequate "explanation"; another statment based on the same reasoning but with much less "born again" connotation could be found easily enough.Hjijch 05:29, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
