[edit] Bending Light
If you remember, the cornea bends light as it hits the surface. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.130.138.131 (talk) 05:42, 9 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Cornea's Contribution
All the papers I've ever seen claim around 60%, and even the reference used here claims 66%, so I was bold and changed it from three-fourths. I can't find my account right now, so this is going in as anonymous 161.242.10.254 14:43, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Artificial cornea (keratoprosthesis)
Would be great if someone writes an article on artificial cornea. Googling brings many pages on it. Best regards, CopperKettle 07:13, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] proportion of focusing power
The article is slightly inconsistent with the relative amount of focusing power for the cornea versus the lens. In the beginning of the introduction, it says 80% cornea, 20% lens; at the end of the same section, it says [the cornea is] roughly two-thirds of the eye's total refractive power. Is this inconsistency because there are other parts of the eye contributing to refraction, because the numbers are so rough, or due to something else? 204.153.43.107 23:43, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Possibly inacurate
This article states that the cornea is the only part of the body that does not have a blood supply, I am almost certain that the lens does not contain a blood supply either. I wrote an large paper solely about the lens of the eye and remember this detail from my research. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.95.135.137 (talk) 09:41, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
