Cory Brandan Putman is the current lead vocalist for the Christian Metalcore band Norma Jean. He has formerly been with other bands such as Eso-Charis, Living Sacrifice, Fear Is The Driving Force, and Uses Fire. He was one of the founding members of Mathcore band Eso-Charis, along with Matthew Putman and Arthur Green who eventually went on to join the band Living Sacrifice. Cory played guitar for a tour through Norway and Sweden with Living Sacrifice, but was then replaced by Rocky Gray (who would go on to play drums in Evanescence and guitar in Soul Embraced.) He is now in Norma Jean as the lead vocalist, replacing former vocalist Josh Scogin. Since Brandan has joined Norma Jean, they have released two records: O' God, the Aftermath, and Redeemer, and they are working on a third titled The Antimother, which is set to be released late summer 2008.
