Corumbá International Airport (IATA: CMG, ICAO: SBCR) is an airport located in the municipality of Corumbá, in the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso do Sul. It is the second most important airport of Mato Grosso do Sul, together with Dourados Regional Airport, just behind Campo Grande International Airport.
Built on a site of 290 ha, 140m AMSL, it is only 3km from the city center. It is a second category airport and operates regional, national and international flights. It has capacity for medium size planes as a Boeing 737 and Fokker 100.

The airport was one of the first to be built in Brazil's countryside. In 1930, the air route between Corumbá and Cuiabá was founded by Condor Syndicate Co. (acquired by Cruziero do Sul Air Services Co.), which operated with single-engine flying boat Junkers. It crossed Prarguai and Cuiabá rivers and landed on them to serve another two cities.
The airline was initially subventioned by the government. Later on, it would be part of the São Paulo/Três Lagoas/Campo Grande/Corumbá/Cuiabá air route, but now with wheeled tri-engine Junkers 52. The last segment was operated by a small hydroplane.
The connection of São Paulo to Corumbá was completed in 6 to 7 hours, and on the next day the hydroplane would make the Coumbá/Cuiabá route, returning on the next day. This forced the tri-engine Junkers 52 to wait for more than two days in Corumbá to return to São Paulo.
In 1973, the delay forced the federal government to build on the airport a hangar with 35 meters on each side to shelter the repair work of the Junkers, that had nearly 30 meters of wingspan. The hangar built with concrete and wood planks had small workshops and a passenger lobby.
In 1999 the airport was expanded: the passenger terminal was enlarged from 1,600m² to 2,400m², and the runway from 1660x30 to 2000x45. In 2007 it shall receive repairs and another expansion.
