The Cortlandt Metro-North Railroad station serves residents of Cortlandt, New York in the hamlet of Crugers via the Hudson Line. Trains leave for New York City every hour on weekdays, and about every 25 minutes during rush hour. It is 38.4 miles (62 km) from Grand Central Terminal and travel time to Grand Central is approximately one hour, two minutes.

Cortlandt has the distinction of being the newest station on the Hudson Line (and third newest on the Metro-North system). It opened in April 1996, replacing the obsolete Montrose and Crugers stations at a point midway between them. Due to this, Cortlandt also has the distinction of being the first station after (or last station before) the start of electrification at Croton-Harmon.

The station is also distinctive in that it is the furthest inland from the Hudson River (over a mile (1.6 km) away). This makes it the only station on the Hudson Line (except for those in the Bronx and Manhattan) from which the river is not in some way visible.

A large parking facility, compared to the relatively small space taken up by the station itself, reflects the heavy use of Metro-North in the area.
