Cortifoam

Cortifoam (Hydrocortisone Foam-Hydrocortisone Acetate USP) is a drug commonly used to treat Inflammatory Bowel Disease, especially Ulcerative Colitis. It is administered through the anus after bowel evacuation, which is primarily targeted to treat the rectum. Dosage is determined according to the severity of the Ulcerative Colitis in a patient; however, the strength of Cortifoam usually prescribed is 90 mg.
