Cortazzone is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Asti in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 30 km southeast of Turin and about 14 km northwest of Asti. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 637 and an area of 10.4 km².[1]
The municipality of Cortazzone contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Vanara, Briccarello, Valmezzana, and Mongiglietto.
Cortazzone borders the following municipalities: Camerano Casasco, Cortandone, Maretto, Montafia, Roatto, Soglio, and Viale.
