Corona Australis (IPA: /kɒˈroʊnəʔɔːˈstreɪlɨs/) or Corona Austrina (/kɒˈroʊnəʔɔːˈstraɪnə/, Latin: southern crown) was one of Ptolemy's 48 constellations, and also counts among the 88 modern constellations. The name contrasts with Corona Borealis.

The only star in CrA to have received a name is Alfecca Meridiana, or Alpha CrA. The name combines the Arabic name of the constellation with the Latin for middle.
