Coromandel FM

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Coromandel FM is a regional radio station that broadcasts across the Coromandel Peninsula in New Zealand. The station broadcasts a Hot AC music format along with local and national news and talk programmes. The station was launched as a summer only station in 1988 and went 24 hours a day in December, 1992.[1]

The station operates independently of any national radio operator; however, its parent company has links to the RadioWorks and re-broadcasts the Mercury Bay version of The Breeze on 96.6 in Mercury Bay, a frequency previously used by Mercury FM.
