Cornwall Furnace is located near Cedar Bluff, Alabama in Cherokee County. It was built in in 1862 as a furnace to supply iron products to the Confederate States of America during the United State's Civil War. It still stands today and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.[1]
