Corneliu Papură

Corneliu Papură (born 5 September 1973) is a Romanian football defender.
He was born in Craiova, and started his career with FC Universitatea Craiova. He has since spent large parts of his career in this club, with intermezzos in France, Israel and Cyprus.
Papură got 12 caps for the national team, and was in the squad for the 1994 World Cup.
