Cornelia Vasile

Cornelia Vasile (born December 10, 1948 in Timişoara) is a Romanian violin virtuoso, inclined for Paganini, a former student of the Bucharest Conservatory of Music, having studied with Iosif Brandeis, Octavian Nicolaescu, Eugen Cuteanu and Ionel Geanta.
She was described as "a real inborn talent, with amazing ease and impeccable style", and, after her successful concert ending the summer course of Ivry Gitlis in Salzburg in 1969, as "a real natural phenomenon".
Then she started a national and international career that placed Cornelia Vasile among of the relevant Romanian violinists.
