Cornelia Polit (born February 18, 1963 in Teutschenthal) is a former backstroke swimmer from East Germany. At age seventeen she won the silver medal in the women's 200m backstroke at the boycotted 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, USSR, behind her team mate Rica Reinisch.
