Cornafulla (Irish: Cor na Fola, meaning Hill of the Blood) is a village in south County Roscommon about 8 km west of Athlone along the N6 road. In the centre of the village there is a National School, Post Office and SPAR convenience store. The village once housed a thriving garage, Emo (oil) filling station and SEAT car sales business, which closed in 2006. The current school, Monsignor McCarthy National School, was built in the 1980s to replace the original school. The old school house is now rented by the new school due to the large number of students attending.
