Corinne Orr born in Montreal Quebec, Canada is a Canadian-born actress and voice artist, who now lives in New York City, where she has resided for more than four decades.

Orr became involved in Children's Theatre beginning at the age of 10 and started to develop her repetroire of voices. By the age of 14 was working at the CBC, as well as the Montreal Repertory Theatre and the Montreal Mountain Playhouse. She acted alongside such notables as Barry Morse (The Fugitive, Space: 1999), Christopher Plummer (The Sound of Music), and William Shatner (Star Trek).

With her solid background on the stage, Orr was hired for roles on CBC radio in such dramas as Laura Limited, and then moved to CBC television to portray the character of 'Suzie Mouse' on the children's soap opera Chez Helene, a bilingual program devoted to teaching children English and French. Robert Goulet and Orr were by then the two single highest paid performers in Canada.[citation needed]

In New York, Corinne began working regularly on radio, television, and as a voice artist. One of her first jobs was a continuing role on the daytime soap opera The Nurses. She also began her lucrative career as spokesperson for a variety of companies in a wide range of radio and television commercials. In addition, she dubbed foreign films into English and, since she is a multi-voiced talent, she is in demand in the cartoon world.[citation needed]

Orr's animation credits include Star Blazers, Nova (third season), Ultraman, The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers (as 'The Queen of the Crown'), and Marine Boy, voicing the characters of 'Marine Boy', 'Neptina', and 'Cli-Cli'. She also voiced characters in the classic Speed Racer series, in which she portrayed 'Spritle', 'Trixie' , and all of the other female characters; as well as the Princess Gwenevere and the Jewel Riders series (as 'Lady Kale', the villainess).

In addition to commercials and cartoons, Orr has narrated children's stories, provided voices for several dolls, and recorded numerous books on tape. For 18 years, she judged the Daytime Emmys. She was the voice of Snuggle the Bear in Snuggle's fabric softener commercials, and continues to work in such series as the Disney shows PB&J Otter and Stanley.

She was a Guest of Honor at the 2007 New York Anime Festival, and her voice can be heard in the 2008 Speed Racer movie.[citation needed]
