Corey Jones is an Australian rules footballer playing for the North Melbourne Kangaroos in the Australian Football League. Playing across the Half-Forward line, he wears the number 21 and has been consistent over the past 3 years. He is also a big-time Kansas City Royals fan.

He kicked the winning goal against the Sydney Swans when the North Melbourne Kangaroos came back from a 40 point 3 quarter time deficit to win by 6 points. He also kicked 5 goals against Port Adelaide Power when the Roos once again came back from 40 points down from Half-Time.

Corey Jones grew up in a small town called Wycheproof, in Victoria, which is a small rural town near Bendigo, Victoria.

2007 Season

Jones had his best year up to date in 2007. The Roos were flying, finishing 4th on the ladder at the end of the home and away season and Jones kicked 46 goals for the year. This included a bag of 7 against Hawthorn in Round 17 at Aurora Stadium. He has also kicked multiple bags of 4 goals during the year and bags of 3. Jones didn't play in the finals series, ruled out with a broken foot that was niggling him all of the 2nd half of the season.

2008 Season

Jones started his 2008 season horribly, receiving a concussion in the first game of the season thanks to Nathan Thompson's knee driving into his forehead. He played half a quarter in the Roos 55 point lose to the Bombers. In Round 2 Jones bounced back well against Richmond at the MCG. Jones kicked 4 first quarter goals on his way to a 7 goal haul, the second time in his 8 year career. The Roos won the match by 41 points against the Tigers 20.7.127 to 13.8.86.
