Cordis is a medical device company owned by Johnson & Johnson. The company was founded in Miami in 1959 and is currently headquartered in Warren, New Jersey.
Their products include stents, distal protection devices, catheters, and guidewires.
They are the makers of a sirolimus-eluting stent marketed under the name Cypher.
They are also the makers of the ANGIOGUARD Embolic Protection Device. This Embolic Protection Device is used in procedures which include carotid stenting.
