Cardell Simpson (c. 1961 – June 16, 2006), known professionally as Doc, was a radio producer for Kevin Matthews from 1989 to 1997 before leaving to become the stage manager for the Chicago House of Blues. Simpson died suddenly at 45 due to heart failure.
