Corblonog
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Corblonog is a townland in the north of County Monaghan in the Republic of Ireland, to the east of the townland of Sheskin in the parish of Tydavnet.
During the late 1800s, and during the Irish famine, most of the townland, if not all, was owned by the Williamson family. One prominent hill in Corblonog, still carries the name Porridge Hill, as it was the location that the Williamsons provide gruel to those who needed it during the famine.
