Corallus blombergi (Rendahl & Vestergren, 1941) |
Ecuadorian Annulated Tree Boa (Corallus blombergi) is a medium sized species of tree boa endemic only to west of the Andes on the Pacific coast of Ecuador . Formerly a subspecies of Corallus annulatus, the C. blombergi was given a species status in 2001, primarily due to its significantly different bone morphology, color and scalation. Nothing much is known about their natural history and there are no known specimens of C. blombergi in captivity. [1]
