[edit] Biography

[edit] Early Life

Skinner was born in Alexandria, Virginia and grew up in Creston, a small town on the outskirts of San Luis Obispo County, California. She grew up on a 70-acre ranch and considered herself to be a tomboy. As a child, she enjoyed participating in gymnastics, diving, dance, track and field, and cheerleading.[1] Before becoming a full-time model, she attended Long Beach State in Los Angeles, California, working towards a BA in accounting.

[edit] Modeling Career

Skinner's career began when she entered an International Swimsuit Competition on The Best Damn Sports Show Period while in college; she earned a Top Ten title. Shortly after, she signed with an agency and began pursuing modeling full-time. [2]

Formerly one of the SPORTSbyBROOKS girls[3], Skinner participated in the 2006 Lingerie Bowl, and has also been featured in MAXIM Belgium (March 2006), Hooters Calendar (2006), BetUS.com Calendar (2006/2007), Iron & Lace Calendar (2007), Garage Girls Calendar (2007), FHM Magazine (October 2006), Benchwarmer, Muscle & Fitness Magazine (October 2005), and Skinnie Magazine (December 2004), and recently appeared on the cover of the March 2008 edition of Import Tuner Magazine. She has also worked as a spokesmodel for Forplay Catalogue, Monster Energy, the Playboy Club[4], Team Design, Unleashed Clothing, and AnabolicStore.com.

[edit] Television Appearances

Her television appearances have included a promo for Joey, a featured interview on The Best Damn Sports Show Period, commercials for Icehouse Beer and Casino Morongo, as well as appearances on CSI, TRL, VH1's Celebrity Sex Life Special, The Office, Cold Pizza, Entourage, Shark, the 2007 Emmy Awards Show, and Las Vegas. She had a speaking part in a live skit on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

Despite early reports that Skinner would not be appearing on boyfriend Brody Jenner's show, The Hills,[5] she did make an appearance that originally aired on April 28, 2008[6].
