- James Wright (historian) (history · last edit) Nearly entire article stolen from [1].
- Computer Gaming World list of the best games of all time (history · last edit) from [2]. This is being posted here as the outcome of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Computer Gaming World list of the best games of all time. The URL provided would appear to be a re-posting from an edition of a magazine that is likely not available on-line. The key question around fair use is whether the list was generated as a matter of editorial judgement on the part of the staff of Computer Gaming World or it was the result of a survey, the results of which constitute simple facts related to the ranking based on vote tallies without other editorial input. It is my feeling that if the latter is true, we would be in a position to re-post the list under the 'fair use of factual lists' case. In the AFD closure, I put a couple of found internal links to prior discussions, but I have not been able to find a clear-cut policy that would allow simple resolution of this case. Thank you for your assistance. User:Ceyockey (talk to me) 02:38, 11 December 2007 (UTC)
