Articles

Gay rights in Utah (history · last edit) - this page mentions a Salt Lake Tribune article with the exact wording of this section. Unfortunately the Tribune article has been archived, so only subscribers can check for sure, but this definitely looks like a copy and paste copyright violation. --Lethargy 00:35, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

The section has been removed by an editor, but if I understand correctly, an admin needs to actually delete the info from the servers. --Lethargy 00:39, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
Update: apparently this isn't the first copyvio. --Lethargy 00:42, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

This is a bad-faith nomination based on me RFD tagging a couple of his images. This editor applies a different set of rules to images that he uploaded compared to ones he didn't upload. He's added literally hundreds of RFU tags to images in Wikipedia, but when I RFUed a few of his images and also asked for detailed fair use rationales and sources he began trolling me, adding various warning and report templates to around 6 of my uploaded images within a 20 minute period and spamming my talk page. While a logo might be used under fair use, the photography -- taking a photo is also a creative action and thus copyright protected -- can not necessarily be used as fair use./ Fred-Chess 23:52, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

  • Image:3d vitamin c.png (history · last edit) from [25]. I have a weak grasp of copyright law and Wikipedia policy -- my apologies if this is a false alarm. I stumbled across this image page; the information there seemed to conlict with those on the source's page. --A. B. 20:48, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
  • Images of Aviator569 (talk contribs count). Includes Image:Jaguar sitting in the sun.jpg, Image:Cougar on the rocks.jpg, Image:Cougar leaping at the camera.jpg, Image:Cougar on a stump.jpg, Image:Two Southern Bobcats resting in a tree.jpg and a few more. If PD-Self applies, this user must be a professional photographer who has travelled a lot. He also originally tagged one of his photos as "Web site", [26], which should be a telling sign. / Fred-Chess 23:48, 18 November 2006 (UTC)
